In 2010, after finding his own recovery, Robert dedicated his life to helping others find freedom from addiction. Since then, he has created innovative, and successful addiction treatment programs, across the Western US. Robert has extensive experience with marketing, brand management, web development and intake coordination.

In 2014 Robert co-founded Northpoint Recovery in Boise, Idaho. From Northpoint’s inception, Robert oversaw the facility layout, marketing campaigns and key team development. With Northpoint’s growth and success, Robert assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer. Today he is responsible for supervising daily operations of the administrative, marketing and intake teams, as well as; assisting in key growth initiatives.

Senior Medical Advisor

Dr. Harry L. Haroutunian (or, “Dr. Harry,” as he is affectionately known by his patients) has helped individuals and families suffering from the disease of addiction for nearly forty years via his role as doctor, author, lecturer, sponsor, and friend. Dr. Harry is an internationally known speaker and authority on topics of Addiction, and Recovery from the Disease of Addiction. He has been featured in the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Huffington Post and appeared on the Dr. Oz Show, Dr. Drew on Call and The Dr. Phil Show.

Following a 30-year history of family and sports medicine in southern Vermont, Dr. Harry spent the next thirteen years as Physician Director of Professional and Residential programs at the world-famous Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California. Board certified in both Addiction and Family Medicine, Dr. Haroutunian worked with thousands of patients in treatment, ranging from high-profile celebrities and CEOs to stay-at-home moms and older adults. Over the years, Dr. Harry served as a consultant to major treatment centers, professional sports teams, and Fortune 500 Companies. As a recovery physician himself, he has great passion for helping other doctors and professionals, including entertainers, business leaders, members of Congress, professional athletes, and their families.

Most recently, Dr. Harry is President and founding director of Harry Haroutunian MD, a professional Corporation. He delivers addiction treatment services designed to help populations not well served by the traditional treatment model with offices in Rancho Mirage and Beverly Hills, CA. His approach is discreet, focused, intense, and confidential. Dr. Harry works with a limited number of patients at any given time, so his attention is focused on the preparation and follow-up required for successful outcomes.

Dr. Harry continues to provide consultation services to other facilities, teams, and companies as they navigate Addiction Treatment and look to meet their full potential.

Dr. Harry is the author of Not as Prescribed: Recognizing and Facing Alcohol and Drug Misuse in Older Adults (Hazelden Publishing, 2016) and Being Sober: Getting to, Getting through, and Staying in Recovery (Rodale, 2013). He is coauthor of Hijacking the Brain. He also created Recovery 101, a series of taped lectures on the topics of addiction medicine, recovery issues, communication skills, spirituality, and relapse prevention. This DVD series is used throughout the country by treatment facilities, family-care programs, and medical schools to educate new doctors.

Dr. Harry earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College of Union University in Albany, New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, California Academy of Family Physicians, American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Medical Association, American Board of Addiction Medicine, and American Board of Family Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and American Board of Addiction Medicine. He serves on the Substance Abuse Advisory Board for the Screen Actors Guild, on the Substance Abuse Advisory Board for the American Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Programs, and on the Advisory Board for Alliance for a Healthier Generation, supported by the American Heart Association and the Clinton Foundation.

Prior to joining Northpoint Recovery, Steve had been part of large corporations for the past 16 years. Since joining Northpoint Recovery, Steve is truly able to combine his learned skill set with his true passion, helping people effected by the disease of addiction. He is driven to help Northpoint Recovery reach as many people as possible find relief from their addiction.

Susan Cherry

Clinical Outreach Specialist

Since 2000, Susan has worked in all areas of addiction services. She is known for her passion for recovery and her ability to motivate and assist patients, and their loved ones, with placement in a treatment facility that fits their specific needs. Susan can also provide intervention services, transportation, specialty services and local community resources.

Victoria Bright

Director of Operations

Victoria moved to Boise in 2015 by way of California. She comes to us with more than 10 years’ experience working in healthcare administration and management. As operations manager, she works to ensure operations run smoothly across all facilities. This includes managing support staff and staying on top of supply and maintenance needs for each facility. Her top priority is to ensure operational aspects are sound, so that patient care is always the main focus of each facility. She is an alumna of Upper Iowa University, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Services.

Julia Holmes

Director of Billing Services

Julia comes to us from Arizona, where she was born and raised. In 2014 she was offered the opportunity to move to Boise to help open NorthPoint, and has been with us since inception. She graduated from University of Arizona in 2008 with a BA in political science, and is currently pursuing her Masters in public health. Working in the substance abuse industry for over four years, she had the opportunity to explore various positions before landing in the billing department. Her favorite part about working as Director of Billing for NorthPoint is the ability to offer flexible payment plans to patients.
