Who We Are
Originally, a small group of people in recovery started Northpoint in Boise, Idaho. These individuals were spiraling downwards as they struggled with substance use, which made them feel hopeless, ashamed, or isolated until they found treatment.
Like many others who suffer from addiction, the people who started Northpoint originally felt that their addiction was due to a lack of self-control or willpower. However, with treatment, they met with support groups and specialists who helped them change this belief. Treatment challenged them to overcome their dependence on alcohol or drugs to help them address the psychological factors that caused their addictions. Addressing these factors helped set them on the road to sobriety, which became the foundation of our treatment philosophy.
Today, our founders continue to live sober, healthy lives, proving that life in recovery is possible. They appreciate how fortunate they have been to have overcome their addictions, so they continue to give help and hope to those suffering from their own.
Northpoint has multiple locations across the Pacific Northwest. Our treatment centers offer support for individuals suffering from mental health concerns and addiction. Northpoint Washington is committed to helping our clients overcome their behavioral health issues, giving them hope and help for the future.
Northpoint Washington's Treatment Programs
At Northpoint Washington, we are proud to provide inpatient treatment for those with substance use disorders and mental health needs. Nearly half of the people we treat have a co-occurring mental health concern, such as depression or anxiety. As a result, we have cultivated a holistic approach to addiction recovery. We help clients manage both the physical causes of addiction and the underlying mental health concerns that may have worsened it.
We are committed to providing treatment for co-occurring disorders as well as detoxing patients safely in our inpatient treatment programs. Our detox program allows you to stay in a safe and secure environment as you receive continuous medical support from our team. Depending on your addiction, we may also prescribe prescription medications that can help relieve withdrawal symptoms.
After you have completed our detox program, you will continue to finish treatment in our inpatient rehab. Through rehab, you will learn about the triggers and temptations that could cause you to relapse and form tools that you can use to avoid a return to use. Our treatment programs are personalized to your unique needs, giving you the best chance for long-term recovery.
