At Northpoint Washington in Washington State, it's important to us to make your admission to our drug and alcohol rehab program as seamless as possible. Want you to feel right at home immediately. The following is the information you should know prior to coming to your intake appointment.
When the day of your scheduled intake appointment arrives, you'll meet with an intake coordinator, who will be facilitating your admission. That person will show you to your room after your intake evaluation. All of your belongings will be searched for your own safety, as well as for the safety of the other patients.
Very soon after you're settled into your room, you'll get an examination by our doctor and nursing staff. They will complete a history and physical for your file. They will also discuss detoxification with you, and talk about when that will begin.
At Northpoint Washington, it's our goal to maximize the amount of money your insurance company will pay for your drug and alcohol rehab. We want to ensure that your out of pocket costs are as minimal as possible, and to do that, we use a specific insurance verification process:
This process can usually be completed in just a few hours as long as we have the required information. When you call, please be prepared with all of your insurance data, including your ID number, group number and the name and phone number of your insurance company. We work with all of the top insurance providers in the country, and we're confident that we can bring the cost of addiction treatment down for you through this process.
We understand your need to stay in contact with your friends and family during your addiction treatment. With that in mind, we have a few rules regarding visitors.
During the first 72 hours of your stay at Northpoint Washington, patients are not permitted to use the phone. We want you to take this time to get acclimated to the facility and concentrate on your recovery.
Visitors are permitted to visit during the weekends only. Each visit must be scheduled, and all visitors must be approved. Any items brought in for patients must be approved by staff ahead of time.
At Northpoint Washington, we recognize that your family is the most important part of your life, and we want to be sure to include them as a part of your addiction treatment. We will hold family group sessions, and these are scheduled by your addiction therapist.
