Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Meetings
Recovering drug abusers may need just as much support as recovering alcoholics. Narcotics Anonymous (NA) was designed to meet these differing needs. These meetings follow the same twelve steps and principles as AA with the exception that they discuss topics that are related to drugs only.
NA meetings can include speaker discussions, step studies, book studies and daily reflections. Members can open up about their struggles during the daily reflections. They also get to connect with other people who are in similar situations. These meetings can definitely help many recovering addicts feel less alone.

Al-Anon meetings are a place for family and friends of alcoholics to share their experiences. Al-Anon hopes to use this opportunity to bring positive change into the lives of these people. Nar Anon Meetings
Nar Anon meetings are a fellowship of men and women who are close to a drug addict. The addict can be abusing any type of drugs. Some may be abusing prescription drugs while others may be abusing illicit drugs. It doesn’t matter. Nar Anon gives loved ones an opportunity to share their feelings and experiences. By doing this, Nar Anon hopes to bring some positivity and support into the lives of family and friends of drug abusers.
Nar Anon meetings can also equip loved ones with the skills and tools needed to better understand the addiction. They can also help loved ones learn how to approach the addict about recovery.

Alateen Meetings
Alateen meetings follow a similar structure as Al-Anon meetings. These meetings consist of a fellowship of young Americans between the ages of 13 and 18 who are living with an addict. The addict can be a grandparent, parent, sibling, uncle, cousin or more. Those who are close to an addiction may find their lives getting completely wrapped up in it.
Alateen meetings give teens an opportunity to open up and to learn how to make decisions in their lives without getting affected by the addict. These meetings are free to join and are often led by another teenager.
